June's Book Choice

We adore this beautiful book from cook, writer and stylist Skye McAlpine. Packed full of delicious recipes that focus on using food to comfort, seduce and celebrate, the stunning design and mouthwatering photography really bring the elegant recipes to life. 

We particularly liked Skye’s use of terms like “hands on time” and “hands off time” to illustrate how long each element takes. The thick, marbled pages contain delights like “Roast Poussin with Lemon Potatoes” and “Rose and Cinnamon Shortbread.”  

An inspirational, aspirational read that left us heading straight for the kitchen.
