Why Design Matters by Debbie Millman

I came across this book on the “Dare to Lead” podcast by Brene Brown which I am obsessed with and ultimately got me through my lockdown walks. It is the most fabulous book with interviews with legends from her years of recording “Why Design Matters” – possibly the first ever podcast. Extraordinary accounts and sharing from people who cannot help but push and smash boundaries. One of the quotes on the internal cover by Amy Webb says “I don’t know how to function dispassionately. That is not something I can do”. It sums up Debbie Millman, the people in her book, quite possibly all the people she’s interviewed and certainly my husband Sameer and I.
