Our work with The Felix Project

It's a disheartening reality that approximately one-third of all food produced for human consumption is wasted each year globally. This amounts to a shocking 1.3 billion tons of perfectly edible food being discarded, while nearly 10% of the world's population struggles with chronic hunger.

Food waste isn't just about the loss of resources; it's about the loss of hope and opportunity. It's about millions of children, families and individuals going to bed with empty stomachs, unable to reach their full potential because of an unjust distribution of resources.

We firmly believe that businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to society. This is why, in 2022, we partnered with food redistribution charity, The Felix Project, to support them in their mission to combat food waste and hunger in our hometown of London head-on.

The Felix Project collects surplus fresh food that cannot be sold and redistributes it to the most vulnerable in our society, via charities and schools. Their unwavering commitment to rescuing food and ensuring it reaches those in need has already had a significant impact.

In 2022, they delivered 29 million meals to over 1 thousand community organisations and schools in every London borough and last month alone, they shared over 3 million meals with Londoners in need.

Every month we donate a portion of our revenue to The Felix Project. So, every chocolate bar, biscuit, bite, or egg that you buy and enjoy creates a positive ripple effect that extends far beyond your delightful moment of mmmm.

To date, our partnership has funded over 10 thousand meals and counting. Meals that are more than just sustenance, they represent hope, support and a shared commitment to a compassionate, nourished world.
