Prodigy snacks are looking for a talented HR/Office Manger to join our growing team in Chelsea London.

Prodigy are new brand in the ‘better for you’ chocolate and biscuit arena. We have exciting times and a busy 2019 ahead for of us as we will be launching our new chocolate bars in Q1.

To be successful in this role you must have a clear understanding of the employer's business objectives as a growing company and be able to devise and implement policies which select, develop and retain the right staff to meet these objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits

  • Negotiating with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions

  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records

  • To have an understanding of employment law

  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures

  • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff

    requirements

  • Planning and sometimes delivering training, including new staff inductions

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries

  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation

  • Leading any recruitment process

Skills

  • Strong administration skills

  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office

  • A high level of confidentiality / discretion

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The flexibility and willingness to learn
